Licence Renewed
Neutrog’s EPA licence #51672 was renewed on 1 January 2026 after Neutrog lodged an application to renew the licence to continue composting activities at the Kanmantoo site.
The EPA assessed the application in line with the requirements set out in the Environment Protection Act 1993 and renewed the licence for a period of 18 months. The licence includes updated conditions that must be complied with, including:
- Introducing the requirement for Neutrog to develop a Stockpile Management Plan and record keeping requirements relating to current stockpile management practices on site.
- Requiring Neutrog to review its Dust Management Plan and Odour Management Plan to minimise potential impacts relating to dust and odour.
The updated licence, which includes the conditions in full is available on the public register.
EPA officers will continue to regularly inspect and monitor Neutrog’s Kanmantoo operations to ensure it is complying with licence conditions.
