Civil works

MAB commenced civil works at the site in February 2026. The civil works are expected to be completed over the next 12 months. In their December 2025 Community Update, MAB indicated that the works will include:

• Early earthworks, which will prepare the site for construction
• Establishing stormwater, sewer and water connections
• Delivery of road and pavement upgrades
• Electrical works.

Environmental issues (including dust and odour) will be managed through the implementation of a Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP). The CEMP was prepared by an environmental consultant and has been reviewed by the auditor. The environmental consultant will be on-site during civil works.
